A South African political commentary blog by :
A political science and law student , aspiring political analyst ,avid reader , accidental writer , street philosopher and budding entrepreneur (as the more aware of you may have guessed, my blog name is indeed an appropriation of I Write What I Like by thought leader Stephen Bantu Biko . More on this later) .
Simply speaking, She Writes What She Likes is a political and philosophy think piece blog, creating an environment conducive to the presentation and exchange of revolutionary ideas.
More than anything ,I would describe myself as a philosophy and political science enthusiast . I aim to provide a clean and creative presentation of the facts, making them accessible to younger readers and the newly interested in the philosophy and politics arena.
The South African blogging landscape has a large selection of amazing political blogs (I will be citing these periodically as many are interesting and well written). Too often though, I feel, some political blogs fall on one of two sides , either being too cynical and complicated for everyday reading or too bare and basic for one to learn anything meaningful . My blog hopes to find a comfortable median, with a blend of objective political commentary as well as interesting philosophical concepts distilled and made easy and simple to understand.
What to expect
A wide variety of content ; Articles on current affairs, think pieces on political philosophy, relevant web comics, essays and shorter posts on philosophers and statesmen, quotes from the great philosophers and politicians of past and present and so forth.
I would love to hear from you
This is your blog as much as it is mine. I would love to hear any and all feedback (comments and criticisms) from my valued readers.
